There are sockets inside and under cupboards for fixed items, such as washing machine, tumble driers, dish washers, integrated microwave and single ovens.

Larger items that use more electricity such as double ovens, electric hobs or induction hobs need their
own dedicated circuit, wired direct to the fuse box.
