Consider Your Lights

Getting the lighting right in your home is important. We may spend many hours browsing wallpaper samples and looking over paint charts, but lighting is often treated as an afterthought.

It's actually the light that can show off the room best. This light fitting (pictured) chosen by a customer in Pocklington (East Yorkshire) complimented the room nicely.

There are lots of options you can consider before you start decorating, wall lights can be added picture lights also and the cables buried/chased into the walls behind the plaster work, also the correct holes can be drilled/positioned in the ceiling for LED downlights prior to painting.

Many homeowners choose the DIY approach but this can be time consuming and often the finished job can look untidy but worst of all leave your electrics in your home in a dangerous state!!
