Cheap Sockets and Switches.

This cheap poor quality socket was replaced today in Barnby Moor near Pocklington. The installation was only 5 years old and already we found a broken socket. Much like anything else, you get what you pay for. How can you tell? Sockets and switches tend to feel heavier than cheap alternatives, and more robust. When you hold them in your hand, you can feel the difference. Personally feel the weight and look at the back of the switch and see that it has a substantial back on it to do the job. But these checks are difficult once the switch is installed. However something else to note is the feel of the click of the switch. A poor quality (cheap) socket or switch can snap when clicked, but a good quality switch is more likely to click.
Quality sockets and switches have long guarantees, When choosing a range, look at the guarantee this can be upto 25 years. This not only lets you know that the money you are investing will cover you into the future, but it also signifies the manufacturer’s confidence in their product.

KH Electrical of Pocklington Stock standard white switches and sockets that are British made and come with a *25 year Manufacturers Guarantee.

*Manufacturers Guarantee is with the manufacturer only and does not cover any labour charges.
